Year One on Solano!

It had been two months since we had closed up shop on Hopkins street, Supple’s home since 2004. We had no choice but to move as our building was set to undergo retrofitting. ( Update: the work has yet to be completed + our old space remains vacant!)

We were excited about our new location + expansion but more than a little bit nervous too Would our clients follow us from Berkeley to Albany? Would our new online booking system be a boon or bust? Would Supple thrive or languish in our new neighborhood?

We needn’t have worried! Supple has had the best year every + we could not be happier or more optimistic as we head into Year Two On Solano.

Supple loyalists had booked appointments before our door on Solano had even opened. More than 90% of our clients made their way to our new location within our first six months.

Online booking has been a breeze for us and for our clients. We wonder now, why we didn’t do it sooner! Plus having multiple treatment rooms has made it much easier for us to accommodate everyone.

We continued to host our Healthiest Happy Hour in The Neighborhood with B12 LOVE every Tuesday from 4-7pm. We always have a lively crowd as our favorite, Dr. Korza, serves up care, common sense + compassion with custom B12 (injection) cocktails. Her amazing blues eyes + sense of humor doesn’t hurt either.

Our long held dream to offer Massage at Supple became a reality in February when we welcomed our ace Massage Therapist Kameron Wicks onboard. So many of you have thanked us profusely after you have felt her healing touch! She is the reason we were nominated for Best Massage in the Everything Albany awards.

A new neighborhood has meant lots of new friends + it has been great fun to introduce them to Supple, as we got to know them. We were welcomed heartily by fellow businesses, we had our first booth at the recent Solano Stroll + were nominated as The Best Place To Be Pampered in The Best of The east Bay competition.

We are beyond grateful to all, to both new clients + those we have known for years. You have made this transition better than we could ever have imagined. On Supple’s wall we have the words “There is no beauty treated than a kind heart.” Thank you for your kind hearts.

Year Two promises to be just as busy as Year One! Fiona + Denitsa will continue to share their skills + expertise in our treatments rooms, but will soon be joined by two amazing, experienced additions to our esti team; Kylie Dayton + Ava Reina. We can’t wait for you to meet them.

Cleopatra, our new front desk concierge is a trained esthetician and product aficionado. Stop by to discuss your skincare concerns with her or ask her to show you our newest green beauty obsession, Ere Perez from Australia.

Last year we promised to “embrace the change” + we are so glad that we did. Our staff has grown into an all-star team of vibrant, young women excited to share their talent and passion with you. Year Two is right around the corner + we are ready for it.

Please join us on Friday, October 4th to celebrate from 4 to 7pm. We’ll have something to sip, delish treats created by Cleopatra’s Mom, owner of A Girl Named Pinky. special gifts for everyone + some really good raffle contests to enter. We hope to see you there!
